I had the pleasure of being in a Voices of America feature on eco friendly fashion. Vintage is becoming more and more popular, and while its awesome to look super stylish and on trend in some sequin getup its also important to recognize the footprint the mass production leaves on the environment. Now, I am not preaching because lord knows I love me some mass produced fashion, but the added bonus is that the majority of the time you are supporting a small business/artist by purchasing reclaimed items.
